Shamrock Divers Rub shoulders with Olympians
Two young divers from Shamrock Diving Club which is based in the National Aquatic Centre, Blanchardstown, travelled to Southampton on October 23rd to compete in one of the elite UK platform and springboard diving competitions, the Southampton Invitational.
A great weekend completed
Following from Jacks great success on the Friday the boys completed a great weekend this afternoon.
Jack managed a hat trick of PB’s and Sean got PB on 1 Metre and high board. Well done guys were all very proud of you.
A special mention for Josh, for somebody diving less than a year his rise to this level has been monumental. His talents, his demeanour and good nature has been a very warm addition to our club. With the added bonus of his parents Belinda and Carlos whose dedication to the cause have inspired us. We hope all three are with us for a very long time.
Well done to all training tomorrow night 7.30 but if you want a break we understand!!!
